Donald E. Smith

Donald “Don” E. Smith, 65, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at Aventura at Oakwood Village. He was born August 24, 1960 in Springfield to the late Floyd Edward and Allene Margaret (Kaiser) Smith. Don received his bachelor’s degree from Wright State University. He had been a longtime employee at JCPenney at the Upper Valley Mall. He was a magician and had a love for films. He was an active member of First United Church of Christ. Don will be missed by many cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at First United Church of Christ, 2000 E. High St. Springfield.
